The convention
What is the Freedom Global Restoration Convention? +
A family-centered Christian convention hosted by Daystar Ministries. It has run every year since 2006 and gathers whole households for teaching, worship and community.
Who is it for? +
Whole households. Couples, singles, youth, children and elders, together. The programme is built so that every age has somewhere to be and the family comes back together through the day.
Do I have to be a member of anything? +
No. Most people who come are not. Three evenings each year are free and open to the public, which is the easiest way to see what it is.
When and where is the next one? +
Get Ready runs in July 2027. The venue is being finalised and will be announced along with the exact dates.
Coming with family
Can I bring young children? +
Yes. Supervised daycare runs every day for roughly ages one to six, and it sits close to the mainstage so you are never far if you are needed.
What about teenagers? +
Older children and teens have a youth programme of their own running in parallel, with youth-led worship and sessions on identity, worth and purpose.
What is a House? +
Every attendee is placed in a House at check-in, with a colour, a crest and a team. It exists so that newcomers, singles and elders are never on their own.
The ministry
Who runs it? +
Daystar Ministries of Fort Lauderdale, Inc., doing business as Daystar Connect, a registered 501(c)(3) organization, EIN 65-0578489. It is hosted by Apostle Dr. Sandra Mitchell with Rev. Jonathan Mitchell.
What happens the rest of the year? +
The convention is one week. The ministry’s charitable work runs year-round through the Legacy Pact Foundation at legacypact.org, and the app stays live between conventions.
Is my gift tax-deductible? +
Yes, to the extent allowed by law. Giving is handled at pay.freedomgrc.com.
Is there an app? +
Yes, free on iPhone and Android. Your pass lives in it as a QR code, along with the full programme and your House.
