Apostle Dr. Karliss Kimbrough

Apostle Dr. , is a global humanitarian, apostolic leader, counselor and wellness intervention specialist who ministers across the United States and internationally. A sought-after conference speaker, she is known for bringing healing, alignment and transformation through faith, education and compassionate outreach. For more than thirty years she has served in ministry alongside her husband, Pastor Charles G.

Kimbrough. She is a retired United States military veteran who served in joint commands including CENTCOM and SOCOM, and afterward entered federal service as a laboratory demonstration scientist at the Army Burn Center, where she established its first outpatient burn clinic and its first graduate medical education department before retiring in December 2025. Her humanitarian work began in 1987, when she founded the House of Refuge Feeding and Safe House Ministry out of her own home in Tampa, Florida. She went on to establish Grace House of Refuge Fellowship Church in Texas, Abba's Precious Jewels Outreach Ministries, and a community development corporation, and she provides apostolic covering to churches in the United States, Kenya and Uganda. She is the mother of two, grandmother of fifteen, and spiritual mother to more than twenty.
