Pastor Maxine McLymont

Pastor Maxine McLymont was born in the parish of Clarendon, May Pen, Jamaica, and educated at Vere Technical High School in Hayes, where she met the husband to whom she has now been married more than forty years. She is the mother of two adult daughters, Kemoy and Ashlee. After migrating to the United States she worked as a certified nursing assistant before enrolling at Broward College to pursue nursing, passing her boards on graduation while working night shifts at Northwest Medical Hospital in Margate, Florida. She spent fifteen years as a registered nurse with Vitas Healthcare, then earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Southern University, and now serves with Empath Hospice.

Having a pastor's heart, she was ordained as Women's Pastor at Faith Chapel, where she serves on the pastoral team. She studied for many years at Christ Jesus University and was awarded an honorary master's degree in biblical studies.
